Welcome to my site!

Well, I hope you enjoy listening to my songs, watching my videos, looking at my pictures.
Please sign my Guestbook and let me know which song is your favorite or ask me questions or just leave other comments!
This year has been interesting. My dad has been in and out of the hospital several times due to complications from heart disease and diabetes and recently started having dialysis treatments three days a week. Please keep him in your prayers.
** Update ** My dad had to have his right foot amputated. Please continue to pray for healing. Thanks.
We traveled to south Louisiana to help build a ramp to help my dad get in/out of their house. Check out my Videos page to watch a clip from that day.
So far, my songs have been played on a local radio station, on a station in Arkansas, and on the Catholic Music Express podcast. An interview by Lisa Hendey was featured on a Catholic Moments podcast September 5, 2008.
My Relay for Life songs are getting around, too. I was contacted by someone from Virginia Beach, Va and asked to use COPS: Cancer Whatcha Gonna Do? for their Relay in June -- even invited to come out and help. Alas... work won't permit me to travel. Would have been fun -- I hope to post a video from their event! Check out Charlene's site Beyond Boobs, Inc.
Thanks for you support! Pass the word!

Welcome!
Thank you for visiting my site. My name is Gerard Faucheux (sounds like faux-shay) and I am a singer / songwriter / guitar player / husband / dad. Well, not necessarily in that order!
Some have compared me to the great James Taylor. Some, to John Denver. Well, I don't know about all that. I just enjoy doing what I do. I'm glad that you are enjoying it, too!
Please check out some of the links above to find out more about me. I REALLY enjoy hearing from folks (Meadville, Mississippi is a long way from, well, everything). Look me up on Facebook or MySpace or 4Marks. Drop me a note. Please....
My debut album, How Can You Think of Me? was produced by the awesome David Smith of Icon Music Studio in Fort Wayne, Indiana. All eleven songs were written by me, with an extra hand on a few by co-writer, David Smith. On the album, I am singing, but David is providing ALL of the background instruments. Did I mention that he is AWESOME? Check out my blog to watch a video to see how he does his magic.
If you would like your very own CD (autographed, if you'd like) it's only $15 (First Class postage included).
OR if you just can't wait for snail mail... , you can download the album from iTunes
